Golden State Renaissance Ventures, LLC
Building Trust in America
It is more challenging than ever today for foreign nationals to gain permanent residency in the United States. Because of this, the government has developed a way for individuals and families to gain permanent status by using an immigrant investor program. Several countries have developed immigrant investor programs. Immigrant investor programs are an advantageous way for foreign nationals to gain permanent residency and assist in developing the economics of businesses and targeted employment areas.
Golden State Renaissance Venture, LLC (GSRV), has designated the San Francisco Bay Area Regional Center (SFBARC) to be a Federally-Designated Regional Center for the San Francisco Bay Area. GSRV obained approval in October 2009 USCIS Approval (pdf). GSVR created SFBARC to assist foreign nationals in obtaining permanent U.S. residency under the Federal EB-5 program. SFBARC will specifically target investments in the San Francisco Bay Area's targeted employment areas.
Why the San Francisco Bay Area?
The San Francisco Bay Area has the right mix to offer foreign investors success. The Bay Area's urban core is replete with thriving retail, established biotech companies, Internet clusters, food industry, healthcare, digital media, and manufacturing, just to name several. With plenty of real estate to expand and current building space to occupy, the San Francisco Bay Area has something for everyone. Need more reasons? The Bay Area's public transportation can take you from one city to another with ground breaking transit, like the world famous Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). With bridges like the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge, you can get from one end of the Bay Area to the next. The weather across the Bay Area is enviable. Anywhere in the area, you will find mild temperatures ranging from an average of 40 degrees at a low and 85 degrees as a high. And no humidity! Let's talk education. The San Francisco Bay Area is home to numerous universities and colleges - both public and private.
As EBRC, San Francisco Bay Area Opportunities are our number one focus;
"We are fully committed to each and every immigrant investor. We are committed to the economic growth of the San Francisco Bay Area, and regions in which investment opportunities abound. We will see each immigrant investor through the complete immigration process: from the selection of an investment project for the initial application to receiving a permanent green card."
How the program works
Simply put, the U.S. immigrant investor programs (EB-5 Visas) provide for the issuance of "conditional" or temporary (two year) green cards to qualifying investors and their families. The investment is a minimum of $1 million US dollars and $500,000 US dollars in designated target areas, called Targeted Employment Areas (TEAs). The funds are invested in businesses that create at least ten full-time permanent jobs for U.S. workers. When the investment achieves the job requirements of the program, then "unconditional" or permanent green cards will be issued after two years.
Benefits of the EB-5 Program
- Immigrants seeking permanent residency in the US will gain a direct route to a Green Card
- Under the program, permanent residency in the United States applies to the individual, the spouse and any children under the age of 21
- After the job requirements of the programs have been fulfilled, the investor (and family) have the freedom to live, work and retire anywhere in the United States
- EB-5 programs offer a simplified route to US citizenship. After 5 years of holding a Green Card, the holder may apply for citizenship.
- Children may attend college and university at U.S resident costs
